Air fryer pigs in a blanket are cocktail sausages wrapped in crescent roll dough and air fried until golden brown and crispy. They taste like classic pigs in a blanket but cook faster and don’t heat up the whole kitchen. Perfect for game day, parties, New Year’s Eve, after school snacks, or any time you need a crowd-pleasing two-ingredient appetizer. Ready in 8 minutes, serves 12 using just 2 ingredients.

Not only are they great for big events, but they also make a fantastic after school snack. You really can’t go wrong with a can of crescent roll dough regardless of what’s in it! These bite-sized crescent dogs are quickly becoming one of my favorite easy appetizers.
Two ingredients, 8 minutes, and a dipping sauce situation. That’s it!

How To Make Pigs In A Blanket In The Air Fryer

- Preheat air fryer to 350°F. Spray basket with nonstick spray or line with parchment paper for easier cleanup and crispier results. Unroll crescent dough. For pre-cut triangles, cut each one into thirds the long way to make 3 long strips. For dough sheets, cut in half crosswise then into 12 strips on each side for 24 strips total. A pizza cutter makes this so much easier!

- Wrap each Lil’ Smokie with a strip of dough. Pinch closed on the bottom so it doesn’t unravel.

- Place wrapped sausages in a single layer in basket with space between each one for even cooking.

- Cook 5-7 minutes until dough is golden brown and cooked through. You’ll need to work in batches depending on air fryer size. Remove and cook remaining pigs in a blanket until all are done. Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauces!

Different Sausage: Use mini hot dogs, andouille, or kielbasa cut into pieces.
Cheese: Wrap a small piece of cheese with the sausage before rolling in dough.
Sesame Seeds: Sprinkle on top before cooking for texture.
Shiny Tops: Brush tops with butter about 1 minute before cooking ends for golden shiny finish.
Spicy: Use spicy cocktail sausages or serve with buffalo sauce.
Everything Bagel Seasoning: Sprinkle on top instead of sesame seeds.
