Serving Suggestions
Buffalo chicken dip is so versatile it could be your main course or a filling side dish. To start dipping away, my favorite choices are tortilla chips or celery.
However, French baguette slices, pita chips, or bell pepper slices are another favorite in my house!
Storage & Reheating
If you have leftovers (which is impressive), go ahead and throw the remaining dip in an airtight container to keep in the refrigerator.
The buffalo chicken dip will be fine for three to four days, making a perfect side for your lunches. Reheat in the microwave or oven until warmed through.

Cream cheese is unfortunately one of the cheeses for this recipe that is hard to substitute for a lower calorie option. They tend to separate when baked leaving it greasy. I’ve attempted Neufchâtel cheese, and that was the best low calorie option I’ve found yet. It still tastes delicious, but you can taste a difference.
Other than going to Hooters itself, you can buy a bottle or jar in most grocery stores in the condiment section.
Follow the recipe and the buffalo chicken dip will be the right consistency— but this is a kitchen, and not everything goes to plan. After or before baking, add another tablespoon or two of cream cheese to reach your desired thickness.

Tapas Tips & Tricks
- Thicken your buffalo chicken dip by adding a tablespoon or more or cream cheese.
- Soften your cream cheese prior to mixing to avoid any clumps in the dip. Set it out 20 to 30 minutes prior to cooking.
- Store the buffalo chicken dip in an airtight container in the fridge for up to four days.
- Make your own buffalo sauce by combining equal parts hot sauce and melted butter.
