Spicy Mayo Dipping Sauce
This homemade spicy mayo dipping sauce is perfect for french fries, tacos, sushi, and burgers. Made with basic ingredients, it’s far from it!

This spicy mayo recipe has so many uses! I love it on poke bowls, egg roll in a bowl, chicken wings, tacos, and sushi.
But I have using it for sweet potato wedges lately. Balancing out the sweet flavor with a spicy sauce is amazing!
My other favorite dipping sauces include this copycat bang bang sauce, this copycat blooming onion sauce, this copycat in and out sauce. All of them are perfect for french fries and chicken tenders!

Ingredient Notes
- Mayo – Duke’s is my favorite mayo to use but I also love how creamy the Japanese kewpie mayonnaise is. It’s super rich so the sauce is extra tasty. You can even substitute a vegan mayo if you like.
- Spices – Chili powder, paprika, garlic powder, salt, black pepper.
- Ketchup – I prefer Heinz ketchup but use your favorite. I don’t recommend using the sugar free or salt free versions because it throws the flavor off.
- Lime juice – Fresh lime juice is best but you can also substitute bottled ( like key lime juice) or use lemon juice too.
- Hot sauce – I love to use Tabasco but Sriracha works great too. If you don’t want it spicy, you can always leave it out.

Serving Suggestions
This spicy mayo sauce is perfect for so many things! I love it as a spread on sliders or as a base on crostini.
But you can also use it for french fries, potato chips, wedges, chicken wings and tenders, and even fresh vegetables on your crudite platter. You can even mix it into your deviled egg filling!
Storage
Keep the sauce in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days. Give it a quick stir before serving it.
I don’t recommend freezing this as it can separate when you thaw it out.
