Ingredients
12
ounces
French baguettes
1-2 loaves depending on size
½
cup
butter
softened
1 ½
teaspoon
garlic powder
½
teaspoon
Cajun seasoning
½
teaspoon
parsley
¼
cup
parmesan cheese
shredded
Instructions
reheat oven to 375 degrees F. Line a baking sheet with foil or parchment paper.
Cut baguette into 1 inch slices, but only cutting 3/4 of the way through. Be sure not to cut all the way through.
In a small bowl, combine butter, garlic powder, cajun seasoning, and dried parsley. Mix well.
Using a brush or knife, spread butter mixture evenly in between the slices and over the top of the loaf.
Sprinkle the top of the loaf with parmesan cheese.
Place garlic bread on prepared baking pan and bake for 8-10 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the bread starts to turn golden brown.
Tear or cut into pieces and serve warm.
Notes
Only cut three quarters of the way through the loaf so it stays together while baking.
Make sure your butter is fully softened so it spreads easily between the slices.
Line your pan with foil or parchment for almost no cleanup.
Adjust the Cajun seasoning to match your heat preference.
Wrap in foil to keep it warm if you are not serving right away.
