This Greek feta dip is so versatile, and can be the perfect appetizer for a party or a great food to keep in the fridge for when you want a delicious dip to serve with pita wedges as an after school snack for the kids.
In a large bowl, combine the feta, yogurt, cream cheese, garlic, lemon juice and zest, and olive oil.
Using a hand mixer or stand mixer, combine until flight and fluffy.
Remove to a serving bowl.
Garnish with a drizzle of olive oil, fresh dill, red pepper flakes, diced cucumbers and tomatoes.
Serve with bagel or pita bread or chips.
Notes
For a spicy greek feta dip, try adding some hot peppers to your greek seasoning. You can also add some spicy cheese at the same as your block feta for an extra kick of flavor. Spicy feta dip is one of my favorite variations of this dish!
Try out different things for topping your dip, like green onions, sesame seeds, or chopped pepper. Everyone has different tastes, so you may want new toppings!
Before serving, add some black pepper and a pinch of salt to your dip for some added seasoning.
Forgot to leave your cream cheese out to soften? You can transfer it into a microwave safe container and heat it in 20 second intervals until it reaches the desired consistency.
For an extremely smooth consistency, try using a food processor or immersion blender to mix your ingredients into a paste.
