Preheat oven to 350F. Prepare a dish or baking sheet with foil or parchment paper.
Cut the bacon strips into thirds. Open and pat dry the lil smokies with a paper towel.
Wrap each one in a piece of bacon. Place seam side down in a 9x13 dish.
Continue until all are wrapped.
Sprinkle the brown sugar over all the smokies as evenly as possible.
Bake uncovered for 40-45 minutes or until the bacon is crispy and the sugar is caramelized.
Remove and serve!
Notes
To keep the bacon from falling off while baking, secure with a toothpick.
For easy cleanup, Let bacon grease cool to room temperature and solidify. From there, all you need to do is wipe it off with a paper towel and throw it away!
For a crunchier bacon, try cooking on parchment paper as opposed to tin foil.
