Crispy Cheeseburger Egg Rolls

take 2 tapas

Cheeseburger Egg Rolls are made with ground beef, chopped onion, dill pickles, and cheese.

It’s everything you’d expect from a deliciously juicy cheeseburger in a bun but in a perfectly crisp egg roll wrap!

Ingredients

Preheat 3 inches of oil to 375° in a large stockpot or similar deep pan. In a large skillet over medium heat add the ground beef and spices.

In a medium sized mixing bowl combine the beef mixture, shredded cheese, pickles, and chopped onion. Stir to combine.

Place an egg roll wrapper on a clean surface with one of the corners pointing toward you. Spoon 3 tablespoons of cheeseburger filling in the bottom half center of the wrapper.

Next, fold the two side corners into the middle so it looks like an envelope. Lastly, brush the top corner with water and roll the wrapper from the bottom up to seal.

Fry for 3-4 minutes, flipping as needed, until golden brown. Once cooked, remove from the pot and place on a wire rack, plate or baking sheet lined with paper towels.
