Welcome back to Monday Maelstrom!  I hope everyone had a great Christmas!  Mine was busy with cooking and family:)  It is always stressful but I wouldn’t trade a minute of it.  I had some disastrous desserts for Christmas, like always!  Just goes to show you that even food bloggers can fail.

Now that Christmas is over, I look forward to celebrating New Year’s Eve and starting fresh in 2016.  New Year’s Eve is the time to reflect and party one last time before buckling down, dieting, focusing, and getting back to work.  I have some great things planned for 2016, I just hope that I can stay focused long enough to get them done!  In preparation for the big celebration, here are some great appetizers to help you ring in the New Year right.

Celebrate any occasion with warm, cheesy celebration sliders! These sliders were originally called funeral sandwiches and made with ham and swiss but my updated version is for all celebrations! Hearty roast beef and spicy pepper jack cheese are complimented with horseradish and the crunch of poppy seeds! Made the day before, just bake and go! Celebration Sliders Recipe | Take Two Tapas
