Monday Maelstrom is a weekly round-up of recipes from my favorite food bloggers!

A while ago I wrote a few posts featuring recipes from my favorite food magazines and I called it Magazine Maelstrom.  Maelstrom, because I have a problem hoarding magazines and all the stacks were causing confusion in my house.  Too many stacks around the house, a husband who doesn’t understand why I need to keep them all when we have something called the internet…  You can just look up anything you want he says!  I don’t know what to look up when I can’t decide what I want to make.  I keep the magazines because I like to browse through them from time to time.  I get inspired by looking at them.  I can get ideas from the recipes that they chefs make, the ads from food products, and plenty of ideas for table-scapes because decorating is not my forte!

Thank goodness for my mother-in-law Judy.  She does all that for me:)

Monday Maelstrom Holiday Cocktails

After getting to know some great food bloggers this year, I thought to myself, “Why not do round-ups and recipes from my favorite food bloggers instead of my magazines!”  They always inspire me, motivate me, and encourage me when I need it.  I decided to revamp my Magazine Maelstrom into Monday Maelstrom!  I will post a round-up on Mondays and help you avoid the confusion about what to make…

You may not believe this but food bloggers have a hard time coming up with something for dinner.  When I am in the zone, thinking about tapas and great appetizers for the blog, I can’t think of what to make for lunch!  We all need inspiration and ideas for meals, drinks, and desserts!  I get confused with so many choices and with a touch of ADD I can’t settle on one thing.

I am hoping to help you with your confusion, swirl of ideas, scrambled thoughts, crazy emotions about what to make, what to serve, and what to bring to your next party, get together, or even family meal.

This kick-off for Monday Maelstrom we are highlighting some great holiday cocktails!  Cocktails prepared by some great food bloggers that will help put even more spirit in your holiday get together!
