Monday Maelstrom Cheesy Appetizers | Take Two Tapas

Welcome to week #2 of my Monday Maelstrom Series!  I had a great time last week talking about cocktails that are perfect for the holidays!  This week I am bringing you a collection of awesome, tasty, and certainly cheese appetizers that you can make and take to your next holiday party!  Here are 25 awesome dishes from my even more awesome food blogger friends!

25 of the best cheese appetizers for your holiday party! Monday Maelstrom Cheesy Appetizers | Take Two Tapas

Take one of these to your next party and you won’t be a cheesy party guest!

Photo from In A Southern Kitchen

Let’s start the party off right with some Cheese Straws from In A Southern Kitchen!  Cheese straws are definitely a Southern thing, like pimento cheese, and will go fast at a party!

Photo from Olivia’s Cuisine

Olivia, from Olivia’s Cuisine is hitting a home run with a traditional Baked Brie en Croute with cranberries and pecans!  You can’t go wrong with baked brie and I love that you can prepare it ahead of time and bake it when you are ready to serve!

Photo from Brazilian Flair in the USA

Brazilian Flair in the USA is making a skillet Queso Fundido that is bubbly, cheesy, and meaty!  Grab your favorite bread for this one!

Photo from Life Currents

Don’t you just love a dip where the cooking vessel is also the serving dish?  I do!  This Skillet Cheese dip from Life Currents will have you fighting over the last bite!

Photo from Sweet As Honey

Pull apart cheese bread is everywhere these days!  Need a genius, ow-carb option?  This Low Carb Pull Apart Bread from Sweet As Honey is actually eggplant!  Enjoy stretching your cheese and eating it too with this fun option!

Photo from Tasting Page

Sometimes I am looking for something cheesy but don’t need a cracker.  This Marinated Feta from Tasting Page is great for popping in a bite of cheese and leaving the cracker for the next person!

Photo from Honey and Birch

Jenny from Honey and Birch is baking some goat cheese but in a different way.  Check out this easy Baked Goat Cheese Dip with tart cranberries and  almonds!  It shines with the hint of balsamic vinegar!

Photo from Healthy Helper Blog

Kaila over at Healthy Helper Blog can whip up some Mac – N – Cheese.  The fact that they are cupcakes are even better!  Question is…

Can you fit the whole thing in your mouth in one bite?

Photo from Turnip the Oven

Have you heard that Kale is so 2015?  It’s definitely going to be 2016 too!  Mix it up in this Feta and Kale Dip from Turnip the Oven!  I know that it takes 5 minutes to make but less than 1 minute for me to inhale it!

Photo from The Love Nerds

Wondering why we are 9 appetizers in and no mention of pizza yet?  Here it is!  #10 is the awesome Buffalo Chicken Flatbread from The Love Nerds!

Photo from Curious Nut

What’s a party without Sloppy Joe’s?  Who cares because I have Sloppy Joe’s Puff Pastry Rolls from Curious Nut! All the taste of the Joe’s without the sloppiness!

Photo from An Italian in My Kitchen

I know that when I am at a party, I want something I can carry around!  I don’t want to miss out on anything because I have to stand next to the food, “hoovering” and hovering over a plate.  These portable and delicious Double Cheese Puff Pastries from An Italian in My Kitchen make mingling a thing again!
If you are looking for something, other than a cracker, to eat dip then grab one of these tiny nuggets of goodness.  Brazilian Cheese Bread from Food Pleasure Health goes great with the fundido listed above!

Photo from Beyond Mere Sustenance

So now that we have broken the ice when it comes to pizza, can we talk about this Blue Cheese, Fig, and Crispy Prosciutto Flatbread from Beyond Mere Sustenance?  Just until I eat most of it anyway…

Photo from May I Have That Recipe

I love potato skins, but these Bite-Sized Chipotle Cheese Potatoes from May I Have That Recipe are making me rethink my life.

Photo from Ciao Forentina

Sometimes the simplest things are the best.  You can never go wrong with a log of goat cheese and a vehicle to smear it on.  These Epic Goat Cheese Logs from Ciao Florentina are just what you need!

Photo from Natural Chow

Can we go back to the pizza for just a bit?  This Jalapeno Popper Popper Pizza  from Natural Chow is the best of both worlds!  It is a spicy jalapeno popper AND a pizza!  Wowza!
