Spicy Mango Margarita with Tajín Salt Rim

The delicious flavor of ripe mango mixed together with traditional margarita ingredients and a spicy salt rim create the perfect blend of cocktail and tropical feelings.  Take a sip of my Spicy Mango Margarita with a spicy Tajín Salt Rim Clásico and start your weekend right!



For the mango puree

4 cups fresh mango

1 cup of water

For the mango margarita

2 cups mango puree

1 cup ice

1/3 cup tequila

1/4 cup chili pepper simple syrup

1 ounce of triple sec

1/4 cup lime juice

lime wedges for garnish

For the Tajín Salt Rim

2 tablespoons kosher salt

2 teaspoonTajín Clásico Seasoning


For the mango puree

Peel and dice your mango no bigger than 1-inch pieces.

Place your mango and water in your blender.

Blend until pureed.

Pour into a storage container for use in your mango margarita or smoothies.

For the mango margarita

Add 2 cups of your mango puree and 1 cup ice to your blender.

Blend to crush the ice.

Add the tequila, triple sec, lime juice, and the chili pepper simple syrup to the blender.

Pulse a few times to combine.

Taste to make sure it the flavors and tartness are to your liking.

Leave in the blender while you rim your glasses.

Make the Tajín Salt Rim

Combine the kosher salt and the Tajín seasoning.

Take a lime wedge and run along the rim of your glass.

Dip the glass in the Tajín salt seasoning mix to rim the glass.

Fill your glasses with mango margaritas and enjoy!
