Want that rich, decadent dessert but think it’s too big? Try it in a small shot glass and you can indulge without loosening your belt! My Salted Caramel Nutella Cheesecake Shooters are the few perfect bites your need to satisfy your dessert craving!

Desserts in shot glasses are taking over the world, and Nutella too! I love everything about a dessert in a shot glass. The size, the portability, the endless combinations, the make ahead assembly, but really it’s the size that makes me swoon.
Dessert is to be considered a treat and not eaten all the time, considering how many things have sugar already in them, but I always feel like I need at least one bite of something sweet after I eat something savory.
It is a necessity! Like breathing, or drinking water, or watching the Oscars every year, it is a must do!
My problem is that the desserts are always too big, the plates only have one thing on them, and never what I was really in the mood to eat.
I mean, who wants to be limited to JUST chocolate cake, or JUST vanilla ice cream?

Dessert shooters solve all of these horrible problems! I recently did a shooter version of that amazing pie that I ate during Holy Week at church. Or should I say multiple pies…
That recipe is such a hit that I decided to do another shooter! This recipe contains not one, but two amazing flavors and is sure to please.
Nutella AND Salted Caramel. Who doesn’t love these two things? Well, Brooks doesn’t like Nutella, but we will just overlook that one flaw he has.
I combined these flavors with cream cheese to balance out the sweetness and give it more of a cheesecake feel and consistency. I also used the graham cracker crumbs for a base!
Just like the Coconut Caramel Pie Shooters, you can use the pre-made caramel sauce, they even sell a salted version, and you can use the pre-made frozen whipped topping if you just completed arm day at the gym and can’t whisk your own from scratch.
No judgment here…

These shooters come together quickly, the layers can all be made ahead of time and assembled later, or you can assemble them now and place in the fridge for later!
You can even freeze them and garnish when you are ready to serve. Just like my Creamy Coconut Caramel Pie Shooters and my No-Bake Coconut Key Lime Cheesecake Jars!
I don’t recommend freezing the whipped topping unless you are already using the frozen brand.

When you’re in the mood for dessert, go small! These Nutella Salted Caramel Cheesecake Shooters are the perfect size for fun and to satisfy that post-savory craving.

What a great idea. Should help you limit portion size, assuming you have more willpower than me and don't just eat ALL of them.
